Industry and business cooperation

To the industry hygienic design is a key competitive factor: Incorporating correct hygienic design into production facilities, process lines and technologies will increase the quality of equipment, cleaning and – of paramount importance – food safety.

The DTU Center for Hygienic Design receives a lot of attention from companies that want to develop innovative solutions and acquire new knowledge in a world which in many areas is fast-evolving.

The National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, has access to apply for funding for development projects through public funding sources such the Green Development and Demonstration Programme (GUDP) and various innovation consortia (including Food Network and regions). This makes it possible to carry out new and exciting projects in a unique cooperation between a company and the National Food Institute.

DTU Center for Hygienic Design also cooperates with industry and businesses on specific development tasks which are solved on commercial terms.
